Conference Summary
Theme: ‘Rise, Stand on Your Feet’ (Acts 26.16).
Bible Study: Book of Jonah.
Date: 26–30 December 2025 (Friday–Tuesday).
Location: Joshua Medical Center, 7872 Walker Street, La Palma, California.

This year’s conference theme comes from Acts 26.12–18:
‘Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.’

Workshops
Faith-in-Action Forum: From Vision to Victory, Session I (27 Dec., English)
Sam Kho; Tony & Nancy Chan
This forum advances the annual Kingdom Leadership Conference’s mandate: to build up disciples who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, act as good and faithful spiritual leaders, lead with kingdom authority, and conquer through Christ’s love (Rom. 8.37; Rev. 21.7). No more sideline spectators: inductive Bible study sparks not fleeting ideas, but a long-lasting fire of the Holy Spirit whose concrete action in the world warms homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces. Session I (27 Dec.) focuses on current projects, community outreach, training of high-schoolers to lead inductive Bible studies, an Athanasius Graduate Fellowship; and two developing projects, ‘How Great Thou Art’ (telling life stories), and art salons.
How to Be an Outstanding Inductive Bible Study Leader (27 Dec., Cantonese)
Ken Law
It is good that anyone would aspire to understand God’s word and to help others do so. ‘The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever’ (Isaiah 40.8). That means this is a ministry that has eternal value! In this workshop, you will learn not only how to understand God’s word through passage textual analysis, but also how to exercise in-depth observations. Only from these can you derive the correct interpretation and sound applications. Those who want to be outstanding Bible study leaders will further learn how to organize their findings into a theme, with which they can develop a road map of a sensible Bible study session that will benefit others.
Prerequisite: One must like people and be willing to invest time to study the Bible.
Faith-in-Action Forum: From Vision to Victory, Session II (28 Dec., English)
Trinity Bustria; Tony & Nancy Chan
This forum advances the annual Kingdom Leadership Conference’s mandate: to build up disciples who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord, act as good and faithful spiritual leaders, lead with kingdom authority, and conquer through Christ’s love (Rom. 8.37; Rev. 21.7). No more sideline spectators: inductive Bible study sparks not fleeting ideas, but a long-lasting fire of the Holy Spirit whose concrete action in the world warms homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces. Session II (28 Dec.) presents two other developing projects, in chaplaincy and paleontology, and solicits W4C dream projects and your ideas.
The Tabernacle and Our Worship Life (28 Dec., English)
The Rev. Joshua Law
You will be immersed in the experience of Prof. Joshua Law’s ‘Seven Stanzas’ worship theology: praise, submission, confession, reconciliation, illumination, word of God, prayer. Professor Law views worship as a Spirit-led lifestyle of gratitude and obedience, not mere ritual or entertainment. It demands ‘spirit and truth’ through personal practices such as Bible study, prayer, confession, and living sacrifice. In corporate settings, it promotes active participation in praise, edification and Christlike living. He critiques passive services and untrained musicians, favoring theologically mature leaders who choose music for biblical depth, godly composers, and emotional-intellectual balance. He opposes sensual ‘superstar’ music, advocating discipleship that emphasizes salvation and repentance, preparing ministers for God-glorifying worship. This abridged workshop is only an introduction on how to lead Spirit-filled praise and worship. For those who are seriously seeking leadership roles in praise and worship, WCCCC will organize with Prof. Law a post-conference series focusing on in-depth theory and practices.
How to Be a Spiritual Leader in a Political World (29 Dec., English)

An Inductive Bible Study on Women’s Leadership in the Christian Churches (29 Dec., Cantonese)
粵語講座:用歸納式查經來探討婦女在教會領導的角色
Michael Yung (翁偉琦博士)
Women’s leadership in the Christian church has been somewhat controversial recently in conservative Christian circles. Many have looked at it as a cultural issue (which therefore should be a non-issue in the 21st century). Are the teachings of the Bible unclear, hence leading to this confusion? In this workshop, Dr. Yung will emphasize the concept of ‘principles’ versus ‘applications’ in the biblical text itself as the key of using the inductive Bible study method to integrate the teachings of the Bible, enabling a church to establish Bible-honoring practices on women’s leadership.
Make America Spiritual Again (30 Dec., English)
Eric Liang
The martyrdom of Turning Point USA (TPUSA)’s Charlie Kirk may, in fact, be a turning point for the nation of America. Charlie Kirk having already built a budding movement within Gen Z, his insistence on engaging and confronting an entire generation with spiritual, moral, and political common sense proved so effective (and menacingly so to ‘progressivism’) that the forces of darkness felt it necessary to use a bullet to try to cut short the debate. Now the debate is spreading like wildfire across the land. And it should. Will you be counted amongst the faithful who are willing to engage? This is a once-in-multiple-generations opportunity to re-assert that ‘American exceptionalism’ is real. It can be a 21st-century version of Pentecost. Intrigued by recent events, Dr. Liang has researched some relevant facts that he would love to share with you: (1) what social and spiritual circumstances surrounded major revivals in history; (2) how the tenets of progressivism have led to despondence in young people; (3) building blocks of spiritual revival; (4) confronting the apathy of the establishment churches; (5) whether Asian Americans can play a unique role; (6) observations from technology and foreign policy, with eschatological implications.
