Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9 (ESV)West Coast Chinese Christian Conference offers scholarships, awards, and various way of reducing fees. Do not let the cost of the conference dissuade you from attending the conference. We want you to connect, grow, and discuss with us at our 2019 Winter Conference and will do whatever we can to make sure that you come.
Here are some of the ways that you can reduce the fee to attend this years winter conference:
Inductive Bible Study Program
As an incentive to learn how to lead Bible study through the Inductive Bible Study Certification Program, W4CAA is willing to pay $25 of your conference fee if you go through the course, and $110 if you lead Bible study at WCCCC for the first time.
In this course, you will:
- learn how to guide group discussion through tiered questions;
- prepare for Bible study with special consideration for context, culture, author’s intent, and grammatical structure;
- practice leading Bible study in a group setting;
- receive critical feedback on how to improvement;
- collaborate with students and teachers who love Bible study and believe in the life-changing power of the Bible.
How much does the training cost? Absolutely free! All it takes is a willing spirit, an opportunity to learn, and a commitment to plan for and lead a bible study. Sign up now!
Scholarships for both registration fees and travelling fees are still available for those who have undergone our training in leading inductive Bible study. For details, see the Alumni Association (W4CAA) and sign up to learn about Bible Study Training through our WCCCC Interest Form.
Sponsorship
Another way to help pay for the cost of the conference is through sponsorship. There are two ways to receive sponsorship:
- WCCCC Sponsorship
- Local Church/Fellowship Sponsorship
- School Sponsorship
WCCCC has a limited budget to help students who need financial assistance. In addition, you can also request financial assistance through our network of alumni. When asking for financial assistance from both WCCCC and alumni, we require:
- two letters of recommendation;
- explanation of financial need;
- scholarship application letter.
Here is template scholarship application letter to help you started:
To the WCCCC Alumni Association:
A _____-year student at ___, I am pursuing a ___ degree in ___.
I am interested in attending this year’s 2019 conference, and I humbly ask for financial assistance to help reduce the cost of the travel fees and conference fees. I am,
Yours sincerely,

Local Church/Fellowship Sponsorship
Since this organization’s mission and vision is to start a grassroots revival in the local Chinese churches, we strongly recommend that you tell your pastor, clergy, or fellowship leader about your interest in attending WCCCC.
Our desire is for you to learn and grow; for you to make a deep and lasting impact through Christ in your church, workplace, school, and family; for you to not be ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God for salvation. And your church and/or fellowship wants that for you as well.
If you want to ask your church to help sponsor your trip to WCCCC but not sure how, feel free to contact us through the Scholarship Coordinator at erik@wcccc.us.
School Sponsorship
If you a student who is attending a collegiate fellowship registered through a college or university, attending WCCCC may also qualify as an extracurricular event. Sometimes, your college or university may pay for a part of your conference fees if you go through the right paperwork and logistical hoops. We’ve done this before. If possible, we have a dedicated team here to help you.
Again, if you are interested, contact our Scholarship Coordinator at erik@wcccc.us.
