Workshops at the 2020 Winter Conference

See the workshop page!

Well, I know you’ve been waiting to hear more about the West Coast Chinese Christian Conference. Though COVID-19 means we cannot meet at Mount Hermon Conference Center this year, we are still holding the conference online, 28–31 December. As earlier announced, the theme is ‘The Living Sacrifice of the Church’ (Romans 12.1–8).

Keep an eye out for our workshops on the workshop page here. You won’t want to miss these.

This year, we’re offering more workshop times than we have before: 4 sessions of English workshops and 3 sessions of Chinese workshops. In all, we have 14 workshops offered by our keynote speakers, our alumni, and several new speakers we’ll have the opportunity to learn from. That’s 8 English workshops, 3 Mandarin, and 3 Cantonese.

For each English workshop time, you’ll have a choice between two workshops; for each Chinese workshop time, a choice between Mandarin and Cantonese.

We encourage you to attend at least 3 workshops, to equip you for the challenge of offering your own body to God as part of the one living sacrifice of Christ. If you’re really hardcore, you can even attend 7 workshops and then go back and watch the videos of the ones you missed earlier.

Stay tuned for more updates, and prayerfully consider early registration!

Lue-Yee Tsang

Lue-Yee Tsang, BA Calif. Berkeley 2009, is an Anglican seminarian, interested in developing classical Christian education within the Chinese cultural tradition, and in biblical worship that forms the affections in the image of Christ’s risen, glorified, and incorruptible body. His very uneven Chinese literacy allows him to quote classical Chinese poetry but not to read a Chinese newspaper article quickly.
